Description Alexander Nyßen CLA 2011-04-26 17:57:24 EDT
As reported in bug #321560, repaint issues can be observed when resizing the palette (e.g. when using the shapes example). The issue does not seem to be limited to one platform, as it can be reproduced on Linux GTK as well as Mac OS X at least.

Maybe that's a duplicate of bug #65892, or at least related to it.
Comment 2 CLA 2011-04-26 18:07:14 EDT
I see this on Mac OS X Carbon and Cocoa. But it's not a palette issue. If you resize another View you will also see the flicker.
Comment 3 Alexander Nyßen CLA 2011-04-26 18:25:01 EDT
Not quite. If I remove the setRedraw() calls within FlyoutPaletteComposite#layout() the flickering is no longer observable on the Mac (at least on Cocoa, where I tested), as stated in bug #65892. I will resolve this as a duplicate and investigate things under terms of bug #65892 instead.
