Not sure what's the problem, but m2e-tycho build works when using tycho 0.10.0 and fails with tycho 0.11.1. Quite embarrassing...

Igor, since you are committer on the m2e project, could you look into this yourself?

Tobias, this is also affecting us at the ebayopensource.org project Turmeric. See bug 345064 with a full stack trace and log info.  Basically tycho's p2 implementation is not resolving all the dependencies.  It works fine with 0.10, but I can't get the new eclipse-repository packaging type, which is one of the reasons I wanted to upgrade to 0.11.1 and beyond.

Sadly, I am not able to reproduce the problem any more. If somebody has reproducible case, where 0.10 worked and 0.11.1+ fail, please reopen.
