Sapphire-gallery.xml 
1. Enter anything in the integer -> simple text field
2. "Show to source", select the number and start typing {parameter 1}, depending on how fast you type, part of the text is removed.

I've seen something similar.  Also when editing the child text node of an element in source view I've seen characters get deleted.
