Description Ralf Sternberg CLA 2011-04-17 12:07:01 EDT
The name "DEBUG" for the uncompressed client library variant is an inheritance from qooxdoo. In the context of RAP, this name is misleading as it can be easily mixed up with the debug mode of the launcher in Eclipse.

I'd suggest to rename the variants to "Development mode" and "Production mode".
Comment 1 Ralf Sternberg CLA 2012-11-21 11:55:34 EST
The "clientLibraryVariant" parameter has been replaced by a more general one named "developmentMode" in commit 18f5cda5d95b7ce8b1bafe93a1493c2276366d3e.

To enable the development mode, include this VM argument: -Dorg.eclipse.rap.rwt.developmentMode=true
This settings replaces the old -Dorg.eclipse.rwt.clientLibraryVariant=DEBUG, which is not supported anymore.
