Build Identifier: 200606261600 I have done this twice on two different programs based on Eclipse. If I change my workspace to folder_q and then goto FILE>IMPORT>GENERAL>EXISTING PROJECT IN WORKSPACE place directory folder_q into the root location and check the copy folder into workspace a recursive folder structure is created and locks the IDE. When I kill the IDE I went to the folder_q and you could see the tree. I have tried to delete this tree with no progress. Most of the folders contain Please help me to delete these empty folders Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.change my workspace to folder_q 2.goto FILE>IMPORT>GENERAL>EXISTING PROJECT IN WORKSPACE 3.place directory folder_q into the root location 4.check the copy folder into workspace
(In reply to comment #0) > Build Identifier: 200606261600 We remember adding a check for the validity of the location. Please reopen this bug if you could reproduce in the newer builds.
Yes, I am reporting a bug that is seen in the most recent release of a software called code composer V4. In the Eclipse IDE that I downloaded last month the same error occurs. P.S. It is bad practice to have someone to reply to an issue and close the issue. the issue should remain open to it can be confirmed that it actually has been resolved.
Created attachment 193302 [details] Directory structure This file shows the directory listing after I have spent time trying to del the contents with batch scripts.

You have to manually delete the unwanted folders.
