Description Glyn Normington CLA 2011-04-13 10:09:35 EDT
The OSGi log service is a logging standard which Virgo doesn't yet support. Virgo should provide the service and route the logging to medic/logback.

It may be possible to use the Equinox enhanced log service in the implementation.

Note: Apache Karaf supports the OSGi log service on top of log4j.
Comment 1 Chris Frost CLA 2011-05-26 10:09:02 EDT
The OSGi Log service is now supported and provided by Medic. It is tied to the Medic bundle lifecycle and the log service is provided in the user region.
