Description DJ Houghton CLA 2011-04-11 13:06:10 EDT
Version: 4.1.0
Build id: I20110407-2200

The editor area minimize, maximize and restore buttons do not work for me. I press them and nothing happens. (nothing in the log either)

Using ctrl-m is a work-around.

Seems fine on XP. Can you try this on your Mac, Oleg?

There is also some weird cropping going on. Check out the attached screen shot. This is what i did:
- command-m to max editor area
- minimized icons looked OK
- then when I hit the "restore" button on the editor area, the minimized ones are suddenly cropped

That might be a duplicate of bug 341497.

Minimize and maximize buttons on the editor area work for me (note that I have
a Cocoa 32bit stack on this machine).

DJ, did you use an "old" workspace with the 0407 build or did you create a new
one?

Aside from that I noticed two bugs in min/max:

1) Double-clicking on a java file in the Expolorer does not restore minimized
area editor.

2) Minimizing detached editors and attempting to restore them restores editors
back in the main window and eventually leads to "Widget is disposed exception"
after some minimize / maximize.

I saw that too.

This is a previously existing workspace. It is failing now if anyone would like to stop by my office and see it.

As far as I can see, this is fixed in Eclipse 4.2.1
