Description Bryan Hunt CLA 2011-04-11 11:30:10 EDT
I'm running Eclipse 3.7M6. If I bring up the Target Definition editor and attempt to add the Linux Tools from the Indigo P2 repository, I will get an error that the filter does not match. I'm building for multiple platforms which includes Linux and I'd like to include the Linux tools in my build.

You need to uncheck required software at the bottom of the wizard when adding/editing a p2 repo location. When checked, the option will check that all required software (including OS restrictions) is available.

That's great except that it doesn't work. I tried to add all of CDT to my target platform with the that checkbox unchecked and got the error shown in the screenshot.

Jeff, any ideas?

Do you have the Include all Environments check box set?

Alternatively, on the the Environments tab, did you set the Operating System to be linux?

Either one of those works for me.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
