Description James Blackburn CLA 2011-04-05 12:46:06 EDT
The lightweight refresh mechanism should enable any non-polling filesystem hooks.

James, what about this?
Comment 2 Szymon Brandys CLA 2012-03-06 03:31:52 EST
It may be too late for changing this behavior. James, what do you think?
Comment 3 Szymon Brandys CLA 2012-03-13 07:50:07 EDT
I think that the current state is fine. The lightweight mechanism works for resources backed by all filesystems (local, non-local, custom EFS etc.) while native hooks works just for some local filesystems. So if we enable both (the lightweight and the native hooks) with one preference, refresh behavior may vary depending on EFS of a resource.
