New package to handle the LDAP query database should be submitted to allow R4E review to handle user information.

We have been discussing to add a notion of identity to the commons framework to correlate users across various ALM systems, e.g. for mapping a Bugzilla user to an SCM user and to provide additional status such as a picture. 

An LDAP integration would fit nicely into that theme. Could you provide more detail about the requirements that R4E would have for such an API?
