The cause seem to be that the deadKeyState variable ins't cleared to 0 before calling OS.UCKeyTranslate.

I'm closing the bug as I'm unable to reproduce this with german keyboard layout in eclipse 3.8/4.2. If you still see this in the latest version, please reopen the bug report.
