Description Chris Aniszczyk CLA 2011-03-31 16:10:10 EDT
When people share a project, they should be able to easily choose an existing Git repository. A common scenario is adding a newly created project in an eclipse to an existing Git repository.

You may want to elaborate on what this means. At first glance it seems EGit already does this.

Do you want to move a project from it's location to a location inside a repository?

It's a bit confusing for new users.

I'd envision the "Configure Git Repository" dialog to be remodeled that shows you a list of current repositories already added and you can just choose one from there. For example, I already have EGit checked out but I just want to add a newly created project to it.

I think the user should get the sharing option when creating the project,
perhaps on the first page. This applies to all team providers.

This is now possible, closing as fixed.
