There are two problems:
1. In case of cancellation, m2e must throw org.sonatype.aether.transfer.TransferCancelledException instead of OperationCanceledException
2. The ahc connector must actually process org.sonatype.aether.transfer.TransferCancelledException and abort the current transfer.
