Once we move to Tycho, we'll have to be sure that mirrorURL is present in the resulting p2 repo's artifacts.xml (in artifacts.jar).

I manually did this for the 0.8 release but it would be nice to automate this.

Yes, this has been fixed (since stable-1.1) in 54273f141388be055f0df0e2f6f9ff228921f46b . I'm marking as closed (fixed).
