Description Roland Schulz CLA 2011-03-29 18:51:47 EDT
If the error from the linker is:
/usr/bin/ld: md.o: in function do_md:md.c:334: error: undefined reference to 'global_stat'

then the error parser shows in the problems view:
Description: undefined reference to 'global_stat'
Resource: gromacs.bench
Path:
Location: line 334, external location: /usr/bin/ld: md.o: in function do_md:md.c	Type: C/C++ Problem

Thus the Path and line number isn't parsed correctly.

Sorry send to early.

This is both with latest Helios release and latest Indigo milestone.
ld is GNU gold (GNU Binutils for Ubuntu 2.20.51-system.20100908) 1.10

Currently gold is not supported. I suppose your request is to provide that support, let me change the description.
Note that you can create your own error parsing in Preferences-> C/C++ ->Build in Helios or Build->Settings in Indigo.
