Description Oyvind Harboe CLA 2011-03-28 02:36:24 EDT
Build Identifier:

If I push a detached HEAD, then gitk will show HEAD pointing to origin/master immediately, I have to do a "fetch origin" before egit shows this correctly.

Reproducible: Always

Where do you push to? Is your problem that when you push to the branch xyz of remote repo2 that your local remote trackin branch remote/repo2/xyz is not updated?

I don't have a local remote tracking branch, this is for the detached HEAD case.

There were some fixes in this area a while ago, I haven't seen a bug where a remote-tracking branch was not updated on push in a while. If this is still the case, please add a comment with specific instructions how to reproduce.
