I think it would be very useful to implement a way to have a more versatile "PerspectiveBar".

I currently use this code to disable the context menu on the perspective bar. It would be quite simple (i suppose) to create a new method to avoid hacking into the "core".

Another great option is to have some control over the "OPEN PERSPECTIVE" menu (a way to DISABLE it, or at least to reset it - avoiding the fixes "other..." option")
