Build Identifier: Build id: M20100909-0800

- Open a file with a blank line for line last.
- Delete last line. So new last line is not blank.
- Save file.
- Now open file in vi. This is what I see on the bottom:

<le/gws/plugins/items/ItemBaseTest.java" [noeol] 427L, 17611C 1,1 Top

The "noeol" indicates that there is no newline on the last line of this file. This is a problem because our code repository expects newlines on the last line.

My project is a customized Java project.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

The editor saves what's in the editor. Text files are not specified that they need a newline at the end.
