Description Randy Hudson CLA 2011-03-22 10:53:22 EDT
When installing software from the helios update site:

1) turn off categorization
2) Filter using "Javascript"
3) Select the javascript tooling
4) Change to filter using "web"
5) Select the webpage editing feature
6) Click next (without clearing the fitler)

BUG:
Only the webpage feature is shown to be installed

7) Press back
8) Clear the filter
9) Press next

Now both features are shown to be installed

This UI is not optimal, but at the very least it should install the features I've selected. Perhaps the filter should not filter out items that are currently selected?

Isn't this a duplicate of bug 235654?
Comment 2 Eclipse Genie CLA 2019-08-28 16:45:21 EDT
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
