Description drthingums Mising name CLA 2011-03-22 01:12:57 EDT
On opening plugin.xml and opening the Extensions tab,it says at the top of the editor "No schema found for org.eclipse.ui.* extension point" and when right-clicking on an item in the tree and selecting New,the only option is "Generic".

We will more info.

1) Whose plugin.xml you are trying to open? Can you share the plugin or plugin.xml.
2) You have o.e.ui.* in the target platform?
3) Which Eclipse build you were trying with?

Is there a space in the path where Eclipse is installed? If so, it might be related to bug #313187
