I tried installing BIRT/Reporting through p2 several times today, and it was so excruciating that I gave up and instead downloaded the Eclipse Java Reporting download through the Friends of Eclipse.  It seemed unable to fetch the composite content – the download speeds never exceeded 20kb/s and after reaching about 600k out of 2MB, everything stopped stopped.

Unfortunately we can't explicitly specify a mirror: access is redirected back to download.eclipse.org.

We'll be adding more bandwidth shortly.

We've added 20 Mbps of additonal bandwidth.  download.eclipse.org won't always be blazing fast, but this should definitely help.
