Build Identifier: 20110218-0911 It seems like consequence of bug 34666 which is somehow overdone. Bookmark description (not entire bookmark data line) can not be copied with Ctrl-C by itself, but put into clipboard as tabbed data. On the other hand, using standard OS right mouse button dialogue "Copy" results in desired behaviour. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: With keyboard action Ctrl-C: 1. Create any bookmark. Open Bookmarks view. 2. Click on bookmark's description. Selection shrinks from entire line to just description text. 3. Press Ctrl-C. 4. Go to any text editor and press Ctrl-V. You can see that clipboard contains tabbed data with full info about bookmark. With OS menu: 1. Create any bookmark. Open Bookmarks view. 2. Click on bookmark's description. Selection shrinks from entire line to just description text. 3. Use right mouse button to bring up context menu, select "Copy". 4. Go to any text editor and press Ctrl-V. You can see that clipboard contains tabbed data with full info about bookmark.
Oh, sorry, there's a mistake in 4th point of second steps list. Should be read as: 4. Go to any text editor and press Ctrl-V. You can see that clipboard contains description text only.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. If the bug is still relevant please remove the stalebug whiteboard tag.
