Hi, I'm Debian GNU/Linux packager of aspectj [1]. As you might already know, we rebuild all our JAR from source (either from an upstream source tarball or directly from CVS). I'm trying to update our package to AspectJ 1.6.11 upstream release using CVS tag V1_6_11 but it seems that some files are not tagged and build failed : For example, ".project" of new "org.aspect.matcher" module is not tagged correctly [2] : I can see there is a V1_6_11RC1 tag but no final V1_6_11 one. Could you please have a look at this issue ? Hi, I followed link (2), it shows tags: CVS Tags: HEAD, PRE_J5, PRE_PUSHIN, V1_6_10, V1_6_10RC1, V1_6_11, V1_6_11M1, V1_6_11RC1, V1_6_3, V1_6_3rc1, V1_6_4, V1_6_5, V1_6_6, V1_6_7, V1_6_8, V1_6_9, V1_6_9M1, V1_6_9M2, V1_6_9RC2, pre268419 which includes V1_6_11 Perhaps the tag hadn't percolated through to the anonymous cvs access mechanism when you first tried - can you retry? I did tag the whole of AspectJ in one go and didn't see any errors. If you can give me a file that is definetly missing the tag I'll investigate a bit more. cheers Andy
Hi Andy, This work for me now. Maybe there is some lag between internal and anonymous CVS server (that's just weird that some files where in sync and some not). Thanks for your time. You can close this issue. -- Damien Raude-Morvan
Hi, I'm re-opening this issue as, when exporting CVS tag V1_6_12, it seems that some files are not tagged (like previously in V1_6_11). For exemple [1] file has only V1_6_12M1, V1_6_12M2 and V1_6_12RC1 but no V1_6_12. Since 1.6.12 release happened on 18-Oct-11, I would have been expected that anonymous release should be in sync. Could you please check from your side ? Or maybe get in touch with Eclipse Infra. Team ? fixed up, there was no 1.6.12 tag, so I just retagged 1.6.12.rc1 as 1.6.12.
