TS, TC1, TC2, new Test Step - decorated with a red X.

In the screenshots you can see the wrong decoration of a Test Step during the Object Mapping.

At first you have to create a Test Suite (TS) with a referenced Test Case (TC1) in it. In this Test Case (TC1) you have to reference another Test Case (TC2). In this Test Case (TC2) you have to reference a new Test Step (new Test Step) with a Component Name (CN1). This has to look like this:

* TS
  * TC1
    * TC2
      * new Test Step [CN1]

The situation is now as you can see on screenshot_1.jpg. The TS, TC1, TC2 and new Test Step are decorated with a red X.

Map the Component Name (CN1) on a technical name and save the Object Mapping Editor. In the Test Suite Browser you can see, that 'new Test Step' is still decorated with a red X (screenshot_2.jpg).

Refresh solves this behavior.
Comment 3 Achim Loerke CLA 2011-05-11 06:00:00 EDT
As this only occurs in Test Steps that are manually created (not automatically mapped by the observation mode), and there is a workaround (Refresh), the issue is being set to wontfix.
