Description trevor.radcliffe CLA 2011-03-15 15:49:28 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100917-0705

For one specific project that I am working on, Eclipse is not displaying any semblance of errors. There are no red or yellow squiggly lines under something that should be an error, and nothing shows up in the problems window. I don't know what happens on a compilation because I am unable to compile the project at the moment because for some reason the people who gave me the code gave me batch files and exes to work with but the computer they put me on is running linux.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open eclipse
2.type asdf in the editor
3.observe that no errors appear

Please provide screenshots of your editors, the 'Package Explorer' view', and the 'Problems' view.

Here is a screenshot showing the Editor with an error intentionally added in and the file saved with the error, the project explorer view with the file with an intentional error highlighted, and the problems view.

Your Java files are not on the build path so they are not getting compiled. This does not appear to be a bug.

Please ask for help with using Eclipse on the forums.
