Description Sam Davis CLA 2011-03-09 17:44:37 EST
When there is an incoming popup notification for a simple change such as marking complete (any change where there is no need to open the task), it would be handy to have a mark as read button in the popup, either one for each task, or one for all. Otherwise you end up seeing the incoming change twice: first in the notification, and later in the task list.

+1 that's would be nice to have.
Comment 2 Sam Davis CLA 2011-05-27 13:38:25 EDT
I did not realise that this is already supported by clicking the incoming arrow. Perhaps there should be a hover icon and tooltip or something to indicate that this functionality is there, otherwise users are unlikely to discover it.

I also like the idea of adding a link for marking all displayed tasks read.
Comment 4 Sam Davis CLA 2011-05-27 15:00:37 EDT
Yes that would be good too. Hmm, the popup is limited to 3? tasks... it would be nice to have a similar view for all incomings with a mark all read button....

That sounds like useful input for bug 177208 :).

There is already a tooltip, so I guess this just means addin a hover icon or some kind of indication that the arrow is clickable. It would probably be good to also be able to click again to quickly undo the mark as read.
