Description RoRattan CLA 2011-03-09 13:42:00 EST
Build Identifier: 20100917-0705

I'm trying to create a workspace for a project that was previously developed on textpad. I installed the tomcat appsever and have the Eclipse Helios WTP installed. Following is a structure of how the project was set up previously.

ats(Project name)--> src (.java files)
                |
		---> web
		|	|
		|	--->JSP
		|
		 --->build
			|
			--->WEB-INF
				   |
				   --->classes(.class files)

The source code gets complied and would get saved under WEB-INF/classes under the build folder. After I installed the eclipse Helios, I created a new dynamic web project and moved all the source files inder the src folder, the jsp under the webcontent folder. I updated the build path to save the class files under the WEB-INF/classes folder.
But when I try n build the project I get a lot of errors one being the javascript validator error. But I feel if I'm able to get that resolved it might help resolving other build errors.
I've tried the following options on ur site but none seem to be resolving my problem in setting up the workspace here.
http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&goto=558588&S=05062dd2d1c1ef22dd5d1a923ed77f11
Please help me!!
Also, I'd like to mention that I didn't add the tomcat server to the project and so start the server using it's batch file under it's bin directory and the localhost page displays as expected. but can't access the welcome page under the ats (project) folder.

Reproducible: Always

Its not clear to me how to reproduce this problem from your description. Can you provide a sample project where this problem occurs?

Without a stack trace or more information about what the error _is_, we won't be able to do anything.
