Description Marc Khouzam CLA 2011-03-08 15:53:00 EST
We plan on no longer showing the inferior process in the DebugView (see bug 338136). However, that means we will no longer show the exit code of the process when it terminates.

From Bug 338136 comment #9 we could try to show the exit code in the IO console and maybe also show if a signal caused the exit (bug 325521).

Using the IO console will not be possible for an attach process or a remote process since we don't have such a console.

Maybe there could be another way to communicate that information, but I can't think of one now.

Note that EDC does not show the exit code; same goes for TI's commercial debugger based on CDT.
