The error is simply logged at the moment. Since the part then comes up empty it may not immediately be obvious to the user that something has gone wrong.

Patch released to CVS HEAD.

Verified with a test view in an inner on I20110307-2200.

Opened bug 339350 for the problem where the part's label itself is blank.
