Build Identifier: 20100917-0705 When I'm in the XML Perspective, editing a layout XML file, I can see each property in the properties view. I want to enter a value in a property, but the button that should open a popup with multiple choises (for example in the "layout_gravity" property, I should see a popup with tickables values like "center", "left", "horizontal_center", etc, like under Win 7) simply doesn't work. It does nothing at all. When I manually insert a value in a field, and hit the Enter button to confirm it, this value disappears, and it reappears only when i click on the value field again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.in the XML Perspective, editing an XML layout file 2.click on a View or any other item 3.click the button in a value field
Please provide screenshots describing what you're trying to do. I'm going to guess this is Android.
Created attachment 190266 [details] Eclipse screenshot The incriminated button is in the red circle.
The value-insert button (see the screenshot, in the red circle) doesn't work.
I think you want bug 308572.
(In reply to comment #4) > I think you want bug 308572. It seems the same bug (sorry: haven't founded it), but in addition there is the problem of the value "disappearance" pressing Enter after the value digitation, that maybe is a new one.
This has nothing to do with JDT UI. Please open a bug against your Android plug-in. They should investigate first and tell the Platform UI team if they found the issue is really in the Properties view. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 308572 ***
