Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new file
2. Bring up the commit dialog
3. Double-click on the file row from the dialog ( status should be 'Untracked' )

Expected result:

A compare editor is opened

Actual result:

No compare editor is open. There is no error log entry. If I right-click on the file entry and add it to the index, then double-clicking opens the compare editor.

Seems this got fixed in the meantime, cannot reproduce.

Yes, it now works for me as well.
