Description Shaun Smith CLA 2011-03-02 13:14:19 EST
By default, new attributes are typed as String. Once created, the right click popup menu can be used to "Refactor Attribute Type" which brings up a dialog. Most attributes are primitive so it would make sense to offer a "fast track" to select between them. Perhaps "Refactor Attribute Type" could have a sub menu with a list of primitives including: int, long, String, boolean, etc. Opening a dialog to type "int" feels like too much work.

A second bug perhaps, but the default field type should also be use selectable at both project and workspace level.
