The manifests for R4E lists dependencies on JGit/EGit, JDT and CDT. To make R4E consumable in a wide variety of scenarios (e.g. RCP) I would recommend extracting these dependencies into integration bundles or even better consume this through the APIs in Mylyn Versions (team connectors) and Mylyn Contexts (structure bridges).
