When you push a change to Gerrit, the dialog box that comes back shows '[new branch]'. If you look at the protocol chatter, however, you'll see that the new branch is actually returned in the output stream but it's not displayed.

It would be useful if the push operation had a means of identifying the remote branch and then showing that afterwards.
