Select any branch in Git Repository view which is different than the actual checked out branch. Right click and select "Synchronize with Workspace". As a result, the Synchronize View opens with all change sets expanded. IMHO this unnecessarily clutters the view.

The default behavior should be more smart and only expand if the number of change sets is really small (probably less than three). In other cases the change sets should be collapsed.

Could not reproduce the problem with a current EGit version, the changeset nodes are not expanded by default.
