Build Identifier: M20100909-0800

when you try to import project from a git repository using the clone function the window hangs and you have to restart eclipse. No error is written in the log.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Prerequisite: create a really long PATH variable in windows.
Open Eclipse:
1. Select File-> Import
2. From the window select "projects from git"
3. Press next, on the next window press the clone button
4. fill in some repositoty info in the new window.
5. press next

The next window hangs and nothing is shown.

I had the same problem and shortening the PATH from 744 to 515 characters fixed it, surprisingly.
