Version: 3.7.0 Build id: I20110208-0800 Sort of a FUP for bug 335615. Currently if you select one of the debug elements in the Debug view and press suspend typically nothing will happen, sometimes you might get lucky, but most times it is completely ignored. Using the test script from bug 335615, wait until the task has started searching and then press the suspend button with the debug target or the thread selected; it will appear that nothing has happened. If you now double-click the debug target the elements will show as suspended, but if you look in the console, the search is continuing. The reason for this is that the Ant debugger cannot interrupt a task's execute method (in the example above once the search task starts executing you cannot interrupt it). We should either not allow Ant debug elements to support the suspend action, or we should update the underlying controller to do sanity checks to see if the suspend will have an effect.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
