I have seen that now the information units are stored as XML files in the file system for a hole Information project in a flat file stucture and cryptic file names (some weeks ago all informations were contained only in the metadata folder and so no export/import was possible at all). This seemed to be fixed by https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=336495. 

But I also want to import and export separatly sub categories or my Information projects in my workspace.

With the items mentioned in bug 396511 this feature won't be available in the future
