I'd like to get a diagram of a Scape attribute. So I'm selecting the attribute and I'm setting the "Gather data"-flag to "true". 

Now, as long as there is no Agent defined, no data will be gathered. A model without any agent probably doesn't make much sense. I know. But in my opinion, data should still be gathered.

I think you're right. THis is actually related to the last fixed bug having to do with rules for top-level agents and I imagine is important for Systems Dynamics effort.
