Description dino korah CLA 2011-02-11 04:47:24 EST
Build Identifier: 20100917-0705

I have been trying to set a dark theme for the eclipse UI to go with the rest of my desktop. After some teaks and turns, I got it to 99% except a white border around minimised (sub/tool)window sets in the editor.

Please see the attached image.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a dark theme in ubuntu
2. Minimise one of the window sets from left ( or anywhere )
3. See the border of the toolbar ( kinda ) that appears; it should be glowing like a shiny gigantic UFO in the night sky.

Remy,

    Is that color configurable/hard coded?

Hi Prakash, it is hardcoded to use white and system colours.

See line 90/91 of org.eclipse.ui.internal.TrimFrame.

I thought its ViewManagement, bit looks more like Trim.

Eric,

Should we be introducing a new item in the Colors & Fonts or should we pick up an existing item and use it?

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
