1) Open PDE > Editors pref page
2) Select one of the elements (on either xml or manifest tab)
3) Modify the colour
4) Hit restore defaults on the pref page
Result:
The color control is not refreshed, so it looks like the restore defaults button did nothing (but the color has actually been reverted).  Click on another element and back again to refresh.
