This is a usability issue.

Please have a look at the attachment first.

When installing several features,
on the master side (left), we have a tree.
On windows 7, the arrow visualizing
that a tree is present is not visible.
Therefore, the user receives no immediate hint,
that he should select/expand something.

I would select the first item automatically to make the user aware
of the master details-pattern, such that he gets a license text
on the details side (right) by default.
