Several SWT snippets directly draw on a shell like so:
	Shell shell = new Shell();
	GC gc = new GC (shell);
	gc.drawRectangle ( ... );
  ...
  
It would help in adopting the SWT snippets for RAP if Shell would implement the Drawable interface and support drawing with a GC.

With fixing the bug 302901, all controls implement Drawable as well as Shell. Drawing on a control different than Canvas is still a noop.
