Toggling block selection should keep the current line at same vertical location on the screen. Currently, when the block selection mode is set to use a different font, the current line can be scrolled out of sight.

Horizontal scrolling:
When the editor is scrolled completely to the left, then it should stay there, unless the caret becomes invisible. When the editor is already scrolled to the right, the caret location should stay unchanged on the screen.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
