Crashed shortly after starting in existing working directory.
Happens on 2 different machines, same OS.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start Eclipse
2.Select Existing Working Directory
3.Wait a few seconds

I don't know if it's the same issue, but can you try the solution mentioned in bug 333227?

Add
-XX:-UseCompressedOops
to eclipse.ini

I have lots more such crash logs, from 2 different machines. I only have one machine on which it's still sort of working, and I've no idea why.

I reinstalled Suse 11.3, from scratch on a clean disk, to try to solve this, it still crashes.

I purposely installed only one JRE, the sun (oracle) one, fresh from their stable download site.

I have tried a couple of fixes (see the eclipse.ini) in a fruitless attempt to cure this.

I had searched this bug, but it was blamed on Java, and it was a different Java. However the fix seems to work, it doesn't crash. I'll try it also on the other machine.
