Not sure the right component to file this against, so I'll try the Arch Council. The Google Calendar for the Eclipse Planning Council (found here [1]) is incorrect and lists next week as Indigo M5 + 0, where it should be this week. Please update this. Thanks. Not sure how we got out of sync, but normally Planning Council calendar is the final word ... which should of course match what the Platform (and other Projects wants) ... so now that we are at this point, and out of sync, the Platform rep to Planning Council, John Arthorne, should come up with a plan or proposal to figure out who and how to change ... Platform, or everyone else. The Planning Council calendar was just based on last years ... ... If I made a "typo", then it should have been reviewed and caught earlier.
OK, thanks to IMing with DJ (and John behind the scenes? :) ... it appears the Google calendar is wrong ... the actual planning document http://wiki.eclipse.org/Indigo_Simultaneous_Release list the _end_ date at 2/4: M5 Friday, February 4, 2011 01/28 to 02/04 I compared that to last year's (Helios) plan and it appears correct http://wiki.eclipse.org/Helios/Simultaneous_Release_Plan It appears M6 is listed correctly. Even if we wanted to say "we should stick with incorrect date since some may be planning on it", that would make M6 abnormally short, so best to correct now. Apologies for the typo. I'll update Google calendar and announce on cross-project list.
(In reply to comment #1) > The Planning Council calendar was just based on last years ... ... If I made a > "typo", then it should have been reviewed and caught earlier. Sorry I missed it. I don't use the google calendar and generally refer to the schedule on the wiki page instead. I agree it's better to adjust now rather than make M6 a week shorter.
I've fixed to Google calendar, and send note to cross-project list. Thanks for catching and reporting the error.
