I get the error below when I try to use the git:// protocol to clone the o.e.mylyn.reviews.git repository. Strangely, it works if I use ssh:// or http://. $ git clone git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/mylyn/org.eclipse.mylyn.reviews.git Initialized empty Git repository in /tmp/org.eclipse.mylyn.reviews/.git/ remote: Counting objects: 3126, done. remote: error: unable to find f6b807a0e794750de0e1b7c65723e2bb3bb106ff remote: Compressing objects: 100% (1755/1755), done. remote: fatal: object f6b807a0e794750de0e1b7c65723e2bb3bb106ff is corrupted remote: aborting due to possible repository corruption on the remote side. fatal: early EOF fatal: index-pack failed $ git --version git version 1.7.1
Seems to work now. May have been a temporary glitch.
It looks like the issue was the ACLs for https access had computed a rights mask that wouldn't allow anyone other than the www server(or authenticated group members) from accessing that file. I've updated the rights, and re-generated them accross you repo. -M.
