Description David Green CLA 2011-01-20 21:00:50 EST
To reproduce:

# open any task, or create a new one
# highlight text in a WikiText text area (eg: description/comment)
# press CTRL+C to copy
# paste the copied text (anywhere) and observe that it's not the highlighted text, it's the task ID and URL.

it's likely that this is related to a recent addition of a command handler on the task editor bound to the copy command

Comment 1 David Green CLA 2011-01-20 21:06:01 EST
this problem is intermittent
Comment 2 David Green CLA 2011-01-21 15:02:11 EST
This behaviour also occurs in the Bugzilla Summary field, which is not WikiText-enabled. Moving to Mylyn Tasks.
Comment 3 Steffen Pingel CLA 2011-01-21 16:02:48 EST
David, please check if you have third party extensions enabled that could cause this behavior.

Closing as per comment 2. Please reopen if you are experiencing this problem when Mylyn is installed into the Eclipse SDK.
