Description Felipe Heidrich CLA 2011-01-20 10:56:48 EST
Having fixed line height in a editor is great for performance and simplify several methods (hit test/scrolling /etc).

Having variable line height allows for a richer set of ranges styles:
differents fonts on the same line, italic, borders, etc

Comment 2 Silenio Quarti CLA 2013-05-29 14:34:04 EDT
Basic support for variable line height has been added to the editor. The editor should automatically detect when variable line height support it is needed. Open separate bugs for any outstanding issues.
