Description Violeta Georgieva CLA 2011-01-19 08:04:00 EST
Hello,

We have problems with hudson job "virgo.gemini-web-container.snapshot" execution. It is failing on hudson-slave2 with "SSH channel is closed. (Close requested by remote)". The full console log can be found here [1].

When I move the job execution on hudson-slave1 everything is OK.

Can you please check what's wrong with hudson-slave2?

Thanks in advance.
Regards
Violeta Georgieva

Bug334069 might be relevant to this issue.
It is the same job, and having set the job to build on hudson_slave1 explicitly (from build2) it might cause the 'every 30mins' problem to start again (due to SCM changes incorrectly checked).

Not that that is a problem, if no-one appears to care much about wasted resources.

After a restart this is now happening again, a few builds went through. All now failing again.

I've restarted the slave again.

It's not logging anything when it gets into this state, and from the console at least the slave seems to be alive and kicking.

If this build does begin to demonstrate the same issue as in bug 334069 then I would strongly suspect that there is a bug within hudson itself.

Here is the console log

Can you please check what's going wrong with this slave?

Thanks

Hi,

I will close this bug.
I don't know what you had done but the problem disappeared.
